By accessing and using Chikolo ("the Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Platform.

2. Use of Service

2.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

To access certain features of the Platform, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

3. Course Access and Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Chikolo grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and view the courses and content for which you have paid or been granted access.

3.2 Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from course content
  • Record, download, or redistribute video lectures without permission
  • Use content for commercial purposes without authorization
  • Circumvent any access or use restrictions

4. Payments and Refunds

4.1 Course Purchases

All course purchases are processed through our secure payment gateway (Lenco). Prices are subject to change at any time.

4.2 Refund Policy

Refunds may be requested within 14 days of purchase if:

  • You have watched less than 30% of the course content
  • The course has significant technical issues
  • The course content is substantially different from what was advertised

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code or viruses
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform

6. Certificates

Upon successful completion of a course, you may receive a certificate of completion. Certificates are digital and verifiable. Chikolo reserves the right to revoke certificates if fraudulent activity is detected.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, videos, and software, is the property of Chikolo or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws. Instructors retain ownership of their course content.

8. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE. COURSE CONTENT IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT CONSTITUTE PROFESSIONAL ADVICE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CHIKOLO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform will immediately cease.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
